Travel Fund Proposal Submissions

Applications due by 5:00 p.m. on Thursday, October 10, 2013

The University Faculty Travel Committee (UFTC) hereby solicits applications for the Fall 2013 funding cycle. Travel funded during this cycle must be completed between December 1, 2013 and April 30, 2014. Please read and follow the travel committee's rules and guidelines as stated in the Procedures and Policies statement.

UNLV Foundation Distinguished Teaching Award & Nevada Regents' Teaching Award

Applications due by 5:00 p.m. Monday, October 7, 2013

The Office of the Executive Vice President and Provost is pleased to announce the opening of the nomination period for the 2014 UNLV Foundation Distinguished Teaching Award and the 2014 Nevada Regents’ Teaching Award. There can be up to five UNLV awards of $5,000 each. The Regents’ Award is a UNLV / UNR / NSC / DRI competition. UNLV’s nominee(s) for the Nevada Regents’ Award will be selected from the winners of the UNLV teaching award; current or previous.

UNLV Outstanding Department Chair/School Director Award

Applications due by 5:00 p.m. Monday, October 7, 2013

The Office of the Executive Vice President and Provost is pleased to announce the opening of the nomination period for the 2014 UNLV Outstanding Department Chair / School Director Award. The recipient of the award will receive a plaque and $1,000.

UNLV Distinguished Professor Award

Applications due by 5:00 p.m. Monday, October 7, 2013

The Office of the Executive Vice President and Provost is pleased to announce the opening of the nomination period for the 2014 UNLV Distinguished Professor Award. The professorship, which carries with it a $5,000 salary increase, was established in 1986 to recognize and reward exceptional contributions of international and national distinction by a faculty member.
