The School of Nursing posted an impressive 97 percent pass rate for its graduates who took the National Certification Licensure Exam (NCLEX-RN) for the first time in 2010, the highest Bachelor of Nursing program in the state. Testing for 2011 is off to a stellar start as well, with 100 percent of the school’s test takers passing the exam in the first quarter of this year.
U.S. News & World Report is also taking notice of UNLV’s nursing program. The school’s graduate programs ranked among the nation’s top 25 percent, according to the publication’s 2011 graduate rankings.
