NEH Regional Proposal-Writing Workshop Feb. 20
Posted: January 17, 2014
The Division of Research and Economic Development and the Office of Sponsored Programs will host a regional proposal-writing workshop conducted by John Cox, senior program officer from the National Endowment for the Humanities. One-on-one sessions also are available to discuss specific projects with Cox.
Attendance is free for faculty at regional universities. Seating is limited and pre-registration is required. A half-day workshop Feb. 20 will cover an overview of endowment programs and special initiatives; strategies for proposal writing; a mock peer-review panel session; and a question-and-answer period.
Also, a limited number of 15-minute, one-on-one sessions to discuss specific projects with Cox will be available Feb. 19-21. These sessions are available on a first-come, first-served basis so early registration is highly recommended. A one-page white paper summarizing your project may be submitted for his prior review to allow for more efficient use of time. All white papers should be submitted to Kathleen Norton at firstname.lastname@example.org by Feb. 10 to provide sufficient time for review.
To register for the workshop and/or a one-on-one session please RSVP by Feb. 14 to email@example.com.
