Posted: January 15, 2014
The Executive Vice President and Provost is pleased to announce the appointment of Ms. Christina Drum as Interim Assistant Vice Provost for Decision Support, filling a vacancy created by the retirement of Kari Coburn.
Having fulfilled a number of roles in the office over the past twelve years, Ms. Drum provides not only continuity but strength as we continue to build our institutional reporting and business intelligence efforts and prepare for Integrate II. Ms. Drum’s appointment will allow for a seamless transition in one of our most visible and critical functions on campus. She continues the office’s collaborative approach to providing strong leadership, support for decision-making, and the technical expertise that support the office’s comprehensive information delivery strategy. Her knowledge of data warehousing, business intelligence, data governance and institutional research will support the office efforts in these areas, and provide continuity in support of current university initiatives such as RPC and Tier 1.
Ms. Drum will continue to meet her responsibilities as Manager of IR Analytics and Metadata in addition to her interim responsibilities as Assistant Vice Provost. She will serve in this capacity until a search is completed for a permanent replacement.
The Office of Decision Support (ODS) operates autonomously within the Office of Faculty, Policy, and Research, a division of the Office of the Executive Vice President and Provost. Information about ODS, including its functions and current projects, may be found online at http://ir.unlv.edu.
