Honors Student Selected as Fulbright Scholar
Posted: May 28, 2014
Studying abroad can pay off – literally.
As one of just 20 nationwide Fulbright Teaching Award recipients, Honors student Bradley Davey will spend an all-expenses-paid year studying and teaching in Frankfurt, Germany. He will instruct students, especially those with an immigrant background, in the English language and American culture, society, and diversity. The German major already has a year of study abroad experience under his belt and heads into this opportunity with renewed enthusiasm.
Bradley’s award is a testament to his hard work at UNLV over the last four years. Whether he was tutoring chemistry students, researching educational policy, or translating a 300-page German novel into English for his Honors Thesis, Bradley has consistently exhibited the qualities of our most successful students: integrity, humility, and a deep passion for discovery.
We are incredibly proud of the global citizen Bradley has become during his time in the Honors College, and we cannot wait to hear about his adventures as a Fulbright Scholar!
