Posted: November 30, 2012
Sarah Trabia was born and raised in Las Vegas. Always interested in math and science, Sarah went to Clark High School for the magnet program specializing in those subjects (AMSAT). She was exposed to engineering for the first time when she joined the robotics team. That experience made her realize that she wanted to become a Mechanical Engineer. During her time as an undergraduate, she joined the Muslim Student Association and was Treasurer in Spring '10 to Fall '10. She is currently the Secretary of the American Society of Mechanical Engineers. Outside of school, she also mentors her younger brother's robotics team. Sarah’s future plans include graduate school here at UNLV to continue her education in Mechanical Engineering.
