Bill O’Grady Named APTA Fellow

Adjunct faculty member William (Bill) H. O’Grady, department of physical therapy at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas, became a Catherine Worthingham Fellow of the American Physical Therapy Association (APTA).
The designation is APTA’s highest membership honor and serves to inspire all physical therapists to attain the greatest level of professional excellence. Since 1982, APTA has named 174 Catherine Worthingham Fellows.
Catherine Worthingham was a change agent and visionary who demonstrated leadership across the domains of advocacy, education, practice, and research. She was well known for motivating others to make an impact within the physical therapy profession.
O’Grady and other Fellows earned the designation through their leadership, influence, and sustained efforts of 15 years or longer to advance the profession. He will receive the award during a ceremony in June.
