“21” To Offer Variety of Short Presentations on Research Oct. 15

A wide variety of UNLV faculty will offer short, informative presentations on their passion for their research at “21,” a Pecha-Kucha-type event set for Oct. 15 in the Downtown Project’s Learning Village.

The event will include 21 speakers who will present 21 slides and discuss each slide for 21 seconds. Each faculty member will have approximately six minutes for his or her presentation.

The event will begin at 5 p.m. with a reception; the presentations will begin at 5:30 sharp and will end at around 7:30 p.m. There are two sets of one-hour presentations with a break for food, drink, and conversation in between.
