Parking Garages
The university has two parking garages, one near Cottage Grove and Maryland Parkway and one adjacent to the Thomas & Mack Center.
All rules regarding parking permits apply. The first floor of each facility is reserved for faculty and staff. The second floor and up is for students. More about garages »
Note: Parking is available throughout the campus for motorcyclists.
Meters
Parking meters are located throughout the campus and in the Cottage Grove parking garage. Fees are $1/hour. More about meters »

Visitors
Visitors to the campus are not required to register their vehicles with Parking & Transportation Services, but they must do one of the following:
- Park in metered areas or properly marked visitor parking spaces.
- Display a valid temporary permit available through the Parking & Transportation Services Department.
Members of the Board of Regents, advisory bodies, volunteers, and others donating service to the University may be issued an appropriate permit with approval from the Parking & Transportation Services Department.
After-Hours Parking
After 7 p.m., visitors may park in any available faculty/staff, student, or metered parking lots for free.
