Entrance Requirements
In addition to the general entrance requirements for freshmen and transfer
students, international students must meet additional requirements that have been
established by the university and/or the U.S. Immigration and Naturalization Service.
For information on those requirements, international students should contact the
Admissions Office. There is a $95
application fee for international students.

Language Center (ESL)
The English Language Center provides access to higher education at UNLV for immigrant,
international, and other students learning English who need language, culture,
and academic skills to succeed.
Office
of International Students and Scholars
The Office of International Students and Scholars helps UNLV international
students make smooth transitions into successful academic, professional,
and social experiences. Services include assistance with employment, visa,
and travel issues; immigration advising; and assistance with immigration-related
documents. The office also provides New International Student Orientation.
All new international students are required to attend
this orientation, which is held during the week before classes begin.
International Programs (Study Abroad)
Students interested in studying abroad are encouraged to contact the Office of
International Programs. Currently, UNLV offers programs in Spain, France, Italy,
Chile, England, Australia, Germany, Thailand, New Zealand, Denmark, China Japan,
Israel, Malta, Scotland, Ireland, Costa Rica, and other locations.
