Visible transmittance
The
ratio of total transmitted light to total incident light. Visible
transmittance may be defined as the amount of light passing through a
glazing surface divided by the total amount of light incident upon the
glazing surface. Thus, a higher value of visible transmittance indicates
that a greater amount of incident light is passing through the glazing.
