Infiltration
The
unintended penetration of outside air into a building. Forced
infiltration is prompted by wind. Stack-effect infiltration is
brought on by temperature-related buoyancy differentials between inside and
outside air.
Insolation
The
total amount of incident solar radiation (direct, diffuse, and reflected) reaching an
unit area of a surface.
Irradiance
The
amount of radiant flux incident upon a unit area of a surface.
