Malware
Sharing files with other people over the Internet is risky. Not only is file-sharing illegal in many cases, it is also unregulated, resulting in many security risks. Cyber criminals create viruses, disguise them as music files, and make them available to the public through programs like KaZaA and Bearshare. During the month of April the Think Before you Click campaign will be hosting seminars and booths across campus to spread the word about technology security.
