Adware
Do ads clutter your desktop when you surf the web? Blame Adware. Pop-up blockers usually keep adware off your desktop. The adware that’s not easy to stop is actually spyware. It documents your clicking behavior then sends you more ads based on your clicking. If you clicked on a lot of book distributor sites, for example, you might see more ads for books.
