“Think Before You Click” was a computer security education campaign hosted by the Office of Information Technology at UNLV in spring 2006.  The goal of the campaign was to help students, faculty, and staff become more aware of computer security risks.

Booths and seminars earned participants chances to win one of three laptops donated by UNLV’s three computer vendor partners.  The more events visited, the greater the chances to win!

At the booths, staff gave away treats, information about security, and free anti-virus CDs.  Faculty and staff were invited to lunchtime seminars.

By the end of the campaign, we hope UNLV students, faculty, and staff knew what to think before they clicked on links, attachments, downloads, pop-ups and music files.
