Mail

Mail allows you, your students, and teaching assistants to send, receive, reply, and forward mail messages to others in the course. You can also store drafts of mail messages, search your mail messages, and add mail folders. Note: Mail is entirely self contained. You cannot send mail to or receive mail from an external email account. You cannot send email from one WebCT course to people in another WebCT course. Your WebCT mail is entirely separate from your Lotus Notes account.

With Mail, you can:

To add the Mail tool to your course:

  1. From the Control Panel, select Add Page or Tool.
  2. In the Communication Tools column, click Mail. The Add Mail screen appears.
  3. In the Enter a title for this item text box, enter the title as you want it to appear below the icon.
  4. Under Decide where to show the link to this item, select where you want the link to be displayed.
  5. Click Add. The Mail tool is added to your course.
