Summit Panel Bios: Hugh Sinnock

Hugh Sinnock joined the Las Vegas Convention and Visitors Authority (LVCVA) in October of 2006, as Director of Customer Experience. He is directly responsible for overseeing the public service offerings of the building, including oversight of four in-house partners, Aramark, AMEX Open, FedEx Office and Smart City Networks. On July 1, 2013, Hugh was promoted to Vice President of Customer Experience, assuming the added duties of managing the Convention Services and Destination Services Departments.

Prior to joining the LVCVA, Hugh served as Regional Operations Director for Reed Exhibitions, and Director of Facilities for GES Exposition Services. In May of 2005, Tradeshow Week named him as one of 20, "People You Need to Know in Vegas". He has served as a Board Member of Opportunity Village since 2006, and is on the Editorial Board of Signage Solutions magazine and is an officer of Green Chips.

Following graduation from Indiana University, he spent five years as a pilot in the U.S. Air Force, with service in Southeast Asia during the Vietnam War. Hugh is married, and has two sons.
