Gaming Management Association
The Gaming Management Association (GMA) at UNLV is an organization for all students who are interested in the gaming industry. The GMA is committed to connect students with the gaming industry through events such as guest speakers, property tours, socials, and other off campus events. Many former UNLV students are now in the industry and are also GMA members, so join us and take advantage of the networking opportunities!
While your course load at UNLV is carefully designed to increase your skill set for post-graduation employment opportunities, there are many benefits to getting involved with student organizations. If you spend time with us, you will gain more exposure to the gaming industry, you will have opportunities to polish your communication skills, you will make valuable connections that will help boost your career, and you will have a lot of fun!
Who Should Join?
Any undergraduate or graduate level students who are interested in the gaming industry should join. Our primary goal is to provide an outlet for students interested in the industry to learn more about it while making friends and connecting with established industry professionals. If that sounds like a club you would like to be a part of, please contact us to get involved!
How to Join
Joining the GMA is simple. We ask that you contact email@example.com to subscribe to our email newsletter, join our Facebook group, and fill out a brief survey at this link so we can get to know our member base better. After you have completed those three requirements, you are welcome to attend any of our events!
Our goal is to host at least one event every month whether it be a general meeting, guest speaker night, property tour, or an off property event. Our general meetings and guest speaker nights will usually be held on campus at the Stan Fulton Building. We will do our best to hold the events during times that are best for our members. You can always find the most current information regarding events and activities on our Facebook page.
