May 20 through June 6, 2013

Total cost of $3,900 includes:

  • Airfare to and from Jamaica
  • Lodging (double occupancy)
  • All meals
  • Speaker fees
  • Ground transportation
  • Field trips
  • Specific water sports
  • Social activities

NOT INCLUDED: approximately $1,200 in tuition fees for in-state participants.

Course Offerings

  • TCA 380 — TCA 380 Hospitality Marketing (3 credits)
    The study of marketing principles with specific application to the tourism and hospitality industries. The primary focus is on marketing programs and their relevance and usefulness in the management of successful hospitality organizations.
  • TCA 449 — International Tourism (3 credits)
    The study of international travel and tourism. Focuses on the economic, social, political and environmental considerations of international tourism management and development.
  • TCA 367 — Special Topics (3 credits); TCA 474 Independent Study (3 credits)
    These courses are provided for students who have already completed either or both of the above classes or for the student who expresses a specific area of interest. These courses will be developed and administered to fit the needs of the individual student.
