About the Research Center

The Harrah Hospitality Research Center (The Center) was established in 2008 through the Harrah's Entertainment Research Endowment from the Harrah's Foundation, now the Caesars Foundation. The Center's primary focus is to identify specific research topics, solicit research grant applications and award and oversee grant funding.

The Center highlights industry achievements by giving annual academic and industry excellence awards including the Caesars Entertainment Excellence in Innovation Award, grant recipients present their findings. The Summit also provides a forum for additional research to be presented and discussed and is a setting for hospitality practitioners, researchers, students and educators to examine the future of this growing industry.

The Center highlights industry achievements by giving annual academic and industry excellence awards including the Harrah’s Excellence in Innovation Award, the Research Scholar Award, the Outstanding Doctoral Dissertation in Hospitality Award and one or more best paper awards for presentations given at the Summit.
