Leadership and Civic Engagement Minor

The leadership and civic engagement minor is an academic program available to undergraduate students who are interested in developing their skills as a leader in their field of study or as a student leader within the university community. We offer eight 3-credit courses designed to provide additional educational opportunities, which supplement degree programs and support the growth of civically engaged leaders needed in the global community.

All students and community members are welcome to enroll in the 200 level classes without pursuing the minor. The minor is administered and taught by student affairs staff. All classes are housed in the Greenspun College of Urban Affairs and are listed with PUA course numbers. The LCE minor is a separate program from the PUA major and these eight classes do not count towards the PUA major.

The LCE minor can benefit any major of study by heightening awareness and developing leadership skills. Add a minor with major impac. Join the LCE minor today.
