Global Leadership Retreat
Are you interested in learning what it means to be a global leader? Do you want to understand different cultural perceptions of leadership and gain awareness of your own leadership style? Or are you wondering how to ethically lead in an intercultural context? Then the Global Leadership Retreat is for you!
The Global Leadership Retreat is a three-day, two-night weekend experience where students are invited to explore their leadership identity in a global context. Through dialogue with peers and interactive workshops students will gain a deeper understanding of how to be effective leaders in an ever-globalizing society. Domestic and international students are welcome!
Here is what past participants have had to say about their experiences:

"Thank you, an awesome experience"
"[The most impactful thing I learned was] to be aware of my own cultural values and assumptions and how these affect my leadership style"
"A chance to learn and meet a great bunch of diverse people"
"I loved being able to meet new people in such an inviting environment"
The next retreat will be held October 4-6, 2013. The application will be available by September 2013. First-time participants will get priority. A refundable deposit of $25 will be returned to each student upon successful completion of the retreat. The entire retreat, including transportation to the off-campus venue, lodging, and all meals, will be provided free of charge.
