Campus Programs and Rebel Events Board
The mission of Rebel Events Board is to improve UNLV's campus culture by promoting school spirit at entertaining and engaging campuswide events. By joining the RPC, you'll have a unique opportunity to get hands-on experience with planning events and teamwork. Members of the council receive valuable leadership training and development that provides skills useful in the classroom and beyond.
Rebel Events Board Events
- Premier - Premier UNLV, one of UNLV’s longest-standing traditions, officially welcome new and returning students to campus, promotes a sense of pride and connection with UNLV, and builds a tradition that marks the official beginning of every academic year.
- Homecoming - The weeklong celebration honors our history and includes traditional events like the homecoming parade, the alumni dinner, and the Rebel Variety Show talent competition.
- Film Series
- Rebels After Dark
- Rebel Spirit Programs
- Additional special events
Join Rebel Events Board
New members are welcome to join RPC at any time. There are three ways that students can be involved in Rebel Events Board:
- As a committee member
- As a committee chair
- As an executive board member (president, vice president, or director)
Feel free to come to any of our meetings to find out more about our organization. General meetings take place every Tuesday at 7 p.m. in Student Union Room 208A.
