Spend a Saturday at UNLV

We'll show you around campus, help you apply for admission, get you started with your financial aid and scholarship applications, and treat you to lunch.

R.S.V.P.
You must submit an R.S.V.P. to attend. Follow these steps to get started:

  1. Visit vip.unlv.edu and log into your VIP page.
  2. On your VIP page, you will find a link to sign up for the Saturday program.

Program Schedule

9:15 a.m. Arrive at the Office of Admissions in the Student Services Complex, Building B (SSC-B)
9:30 a.m. Campus Tour
11 a.m. Admissions and Financial Aid Workshop, Classroom Building Complex (CBC)
11:30 a.m. Lunch in the Dining Commons

Location and Parking
The program will begin in the Office of Admissions in the Student Services Complex, Building B (SSC-B) located off of Tropicana and Swenson Avenues. The building is labeled number 23 on our campus map. You must R.S.V.P. to receive additional instructions.

Accommodations
The Hampton Inn Tropicana Las Vegas offers a preferred rate of $79 per night for guests visiting UNLV. The hotel is located three miles from the university and has a complimentary shuttle service. Learn more by visiting the Hampton Inn Tropicana Las Vegas website.

If you are interested in staying at the hotel, you can reserve your room in one of two ways:

  1. Call 1-800-Hampton or 702-948-8100 and mention UNLV when reserving your room.
  2. To reserve your room online, you must use this unique URL.

Additional Information

  • It can get very hot in Las Vegas in the summer months. Please wear comfortable clothing and shoes and remember to bring water.
  • Many of UNLV's facilities will not be open over the weekend. We cannot accommodate requests to meet with academic faculty, advisors, or other staff during this program.
