Think you have what it takes to win the 2013 Festival of Communities Student Video Contest? Then submit your video for the chance to win up to $100 Rebel Cash! Simply attend Festival of Communities on Sat, April 20 and film whatever you wish. Then edit your video, add sound, and send it (no longer than 2 minutes total) to festivals@unlv.edu by May 6, 2013. Videos may include a combination of specially-filmed content (see the winners of 2012’s contest for examples) and footage from the day-of, but must include at least some footage from the actual Festival (ideas: performance, interviews with attendees, footage of the crowd, etc). Winners will be posted on the website and Facebook page, used to promote next year’s event, and will receive Rebel Cash ($100 First Place and $50 Second Place)!”
