Veteran's Day Walk/Run to Remember
When: Nov. 7, 2012, 6am - 2pmCampus Location: Valerie Pida Plaza
Office/Remote Location: In front of Flora Dungan Humanities (FDH) building
Join the Student Veteran Organization and UNLV Veteran Services for a Veteran's Day Walk/Run to Remember on Nov. 7 to support and honor our UNLV Rebel vets.
Individuals or student organizations can participate by registering to carry “Old Glory” on the designated walk/run route.
- 6 a.m. - 2 p.m. - Run/Walk to Remember
- 9 a.m. - Wreath ceremony at UNLV Memorial (near the flashlight)
- 9 a.m. - 2 p.m. - Write a “Thank You Veteran” card
Free T-shirts will be given to registered participants.
