Join the College of Liberal Arts in the University Forum Lecture, "Seeing Another Way: Night Photography, the Mojave Desert and the Exploration of Technology" a talk by Julian Kilker, associate professor, Emerging Technologies, UNLV.
Professor Kilker has used night photography and lighting techniques to explore the complex beauty of the Mojave Desert and to document a region often overlooked and bypassed by highway travelers. Using examples of his and other photographers’ works, this presentation examines how studying such “extreme” photography techniques helps us understand innovation and technical exploration. It will also suggest implications for education and our economy.
This event is free and open to the public.
