University Forum: Research Literally at Your Fingertips

Please join the College of Liberal Arts for the University Forum Lecture "Research Literally at Your Fingertips," a talk by Marianne A. Buehler, assistant professor, scholarly communication and urban sustainability librarian, UNLV Libraries.

As academic libraries promote open access to research, every citizen has an opportunity to locate global scholarly materials for personal or business use. The University of Nevada, Las Vegas' library archives research in its Digital Scholarship@UNLV repository, including full-text journals, articles, reports, presentations, conferences, and archival materials. Currently, there are over 2,500 global research archives and nearly 10,000 scholarly journals that can be searched and accessed from a computer.
