Please join the College of Liberal Arts in the University Forum Lecture "Song of the Crane: A Year on Marjorie's Marsh" a talk by Stephen Brown, professor, Department of English, UNLV.
Song of the Crane tells the story in memorable words and images of a year the author spent on an American wetland. It is at once a vibrant exploration of the self in nature, a cautionary tale of the unforeseen effects of unchecked development, and a call to action to protect and preserve a wetland paradise. Images of sandhill cranes, herons, egrets, roseate spoonbills, and otters abound in this lively safari to an American wetland.
This event is free and open to the public.
