Southern Nevada Economic Outlook Conference

The Center for Business and Economic Research (CBER) in the Lee Business School at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas will hold its annual Southern Nevada Economic Outlook Conference at the M Resort Spa Casino.
The events featured speaker will be CBER director and professor of economics, Dr. Stephen P. A. Brown. An internationally recognized scholar for his work in energy economics and his knowledge of the Southern Nevada economy, Dr. Brown has conducted economic research and analysis in such areas as regional economic growth, aggregate economic activity, economic indicators, business conditions, public finance, energy, environment, and climate policy. Some of the topics that Dr. Brown will address includes tourism and gaming, employment, construction, and housing. He will also present CBER's economic outlook for the United States and Southern Nevada. In addition, Dr. Lee McPheters from Arizona State University will give his economic outlook for the western states, and Dr. Esmael Adibi from Chapman University will present his economic outlook for California.
Registration and continental breakfast will start at 7:45 a.m.
