Travis Huxman, professor of ecology and evolutionary biology at the University of California, Irvine, will be the featured speaker at a School of Life Sciences seminar.
Huxman, an alum who received his Ph.D. in biology in 2000 from UNLV, is a physiological ecologist who focuses on understanding the evolution of functional traits in plants and the impacts of climate change on ecosystems.
