Gill Geesey, microbiology professor at Montana State University, will be the featured speaker at a School of Life Sciences seminar.
Geesey's research focuses on interactions between microorganisms and minerals. His group studies how microorganisms influence the cycling of mercury cycle in geothermal food webs of acidic environments in Yellowstone National Park.
