Mike O'Connor, professor of developmental biology at the University of Minnesota, will be the featured speaker at a School of Life Sciences seminar.
The Michael B. O'Connor Laboratory studies the function of several Drosophila genes to learn how interacting cells differentiate to form spatial patterns. One area of focus is to investigate how transcriptional regulation of the bithorax complex is controlled.
