REpresentations, Reclaimed Mixed Media Landscapes

Rebecca Pugh’s midway graduate art exhibition, "REpresentations, Reclaimed Mixed Media Landscapes," will be held in Grant Hall Gallery from Dec. 9-13. The exhibition is open to the public Mon.-Fri., 9 a.m.-5:30 p.m.

The opening reception will be held on Tue., Dec. 10, 6-9 p.m.

Rebecca Pugh is an international graduate student from Canada, currently pursuing her master of fine arts at UNLV. Rebecca is interested in the transformation of disposed objects. Her landscape paintings and sculptures incorporate unconventional materials including plastic shopping bags and bed linens; objects associated with urban spaces that disguise the natural landscape and climate in which many people live. Her mixed media practice and artworks aim to present an aesthetic experience, inviting dialogue of art and non-art issues.
