Rebel Reading Challenge

The Rebel Reading Challenge kickoff celebration will include UNLV coaches, student athletes and education leaders.
The Rebel Reading Challenge is a 30-day competition designed to motivate students to read. Through this community outreach initiative created four years ago by UNLV Athletics and SuperPawn the competition has evolved from 16 schools to nearly 7,000 students from 37 schools. The 4th and 5th grade classes who read the most pages during the reading competition will win a trip to a men's basketball game, a pizza party and other prizes.
This program allows students from at-risk schools to discover that a college degree is attainable.
