"Changing Lives" Seminar for Faculty and Graduate Assistants

Are you a professor or graduate assistant interested in new ways to creatively engage your students?
Join the UNLV Sociology and Music Departments as they host their interactive seminar “Changing Lives: An Orchestral Approach to Education.” This grant-winning presentation will use musical performance and orchestral conducting as a model for individual empowerment in a large university setting. This daylong event will be moderated by Dr. Simon Gottschalk, UNLV Sociology Department, and Rachel Waddell, assistant conductor of the Canton Symphony Orchestra in Ohio.
This seminar is free and includes a complementary mid-morning coffee and lunch.
Registration is open now through March 5 and capped at the first twenty five respondents.
