Pre-Columbian Sacrifice: The Burden of the Elite

The exhibition explores the central themes of ritual sacrifice, feasting, bloodletting and the ancient ballgame using artifacts from the Dr. Michael and Mannetta Braunstein Collection of Pre-Columbian Art. 

The exhibition is curated by students enrolled in Gallery Practices (ART 309). 

The opening reception will be held May 9, 6-8 p.m.

Admission Information: 

Admission is free

Museum Hours:
Mon. - Fri.: 9 a.m.–5 p.m., Thur. until 8 p.m.
Sat.: Noon–5 p.m.
Closed Sundays and state and federal holidays.

Suggested contribution:

  • $5 for adults
  • $2 for adults 62 and older
