The office of online education will host the online portion of the 2013 EDUCAUSE Learning Initiative (ELI) annual meeting Feb. 4-6. The annual meeting is a highly interactive and engaging program where attendees will exchange ideas, innovations, and results within the overall context of moving toward the next generation of learning.
By hosting the online portion, online education offers those interested at UNLV access to all online conference sessions live and on-demand during the following times:
- Feb. 4, 9 a.m. – 5:45 p.m.
- Feb. 5, 8 a.m. – 4:30 p.m.
- Feb. 6, 8:30 a.m. – noon
With the theme of "Advancing the Next Generation of Learning," the meeting will focus on the rapid evolution of learning technology, charting its migration from the desktop to the cloud and mobile devices. It also will explore which course models advance new models of learning to maximize student engagement and persistence.
