The UNLV Women's Studies and Interdisciplinary Degree Programs invites you to attend a talk titled "No Church in the Wild: Queer Anarchy and Gaga Feminism" by Jack Halberstam, professor of American Studies and Ethnicity, Gender Studies and Comparative Literature at the University of Southern California. A prolific scholar, Halberstam works in the areas of popular, visual and queer culture with an emphasis on subcultures. His numerous books include the groundbreaking "Female Masculinity, In a Queer Time and Place" and "The Queer Art of Failure." His most recent book is "Gaga Feminism: Sex, Gender and the End of Normal."
