The University Libraries Celebrate the 25th Anniversary of the Center for Gaming Research

Featuring David G. Schwartz, Ph.D., director, Center for Gaming Research

Throughout its history, the Center for Gaming Research at UNLV Libraries has been UNLV’s hub for the interdisciplinary study of gaming in society; locally, nationally and internationally.

Invited guests will see and learn more about the largest historical gaming collection in the world, from 16th century Italy to 21st century Las Vegas:

  • Rare books, photographs and much more
  • Casino archives such as Harrah’s Gaming
  • Corporate archives for Caesars Entertainment and other gaming giants
  • Architectural drawings and blueprints of casino resorts
