Klai Juba Lecture Series Welcomes Rick Joy

The UNLV School of Architecture and the Klai Juba Lecture Series presents "Taking the Time," a talk by Rick Joy, principal of Rick Joy Architects. Lecture begins at 6 p.m., and is preceded by a reception at 5:30 p.m. at the UNLV Downtown Design Center.

Joy received the 2002 American Academy of Arts and Letters Award in Architecture. In 2004, he won the prestigious National Design Award from the Smithsonian Institute/Cooper-Hewitt Museum. He periodically serves as a visiting professor at the Harvard Graduate School of Design, Rice, and MIT and lectures throughout the world on his firm's work.
