How to Successfully Start your Graduate Program

GPSA and Graduate College invite graduate students to attend a information session on how to successfully start your graduate program and have these questions and more answered:

What are the keys for getting a strong start in my graduate program? How can I find the UNLV resources to be a success in graduate school? How do I select my committee? What should I expect from myself, my committee and my department? What are the expectations of the Graduate College?

Panelists Include:

  • Dr. Kate Korgan, interim dean, Graduate College and associate professor, department of sociology
  • Dr. Liam Frink, associate professor, department of anthropology
  • Dr. Doris Watson, professor, department of educational psychology & higher education
  • Dr. Thomas Bussey, visiting assistant professor, department of chemistry
