You have a great idea for a research project...but how do you locate a relevant outside funding source? This informative, hands-on workshop will show you how to utilize existing resources and search for current funding opportunities that match your expertise and research areas.
Topics Include:
Demonstration of searchable databases available to UNLV Faculty:
- Grants Resource Center (GRC) Foundation Directory Grants.gov
Determine how to receive direct notification of relevant funding opportunities:
- GRC Faculty Alerts RSS feeds
Understanding the solicitation or program announcement:
- Due dates Formats Proposal components
Understanding eligibility:
- Institutional type Individual awards
Event is free for UNLV faculty and staff
Seating is limited: All who are interested are encouraged to attend, but priority will be given to UNLV faculty.
