Join the Graduate and Professional Student Association in their fall semester brown bag series. Each brown bag series event features two graduate and/or professional students from a designated college who share their research. Time will be given after each presentation for Q & A.
- Lan Jiang - a second-year Ph.D student in Hotel Administration who teaches hospitality finance. His research mainly focuses on hotel revenue management and distribution channels management. He plans on pursuing an academic career upon graduation. He will be presenting research focusing on hotel distribution channels and rate parity issues.
- Yun-Ying (Susan) Zhong - a Ph.D student in Hotel Administration. She is specifically interested in consumer behaviors and technology applications in the hospitality and tourism industry. Her research includes developing a mobile application for a tourism destination, identifying profitable customer segment for guest-room technology, and benchmarking the lodging technology investment. Her presentation is built on these previous studies, and discusses the role of hotel technology amenities as a value cue for hotel customers.
