Description

This two-day course will cover the management applications involved in the operation of a surveillance room in gaming environments.

Management topics include:

  • Creation of policies and procedures
  • Personnel interviewing and hiring strategies
  • Interdepartmental communication and cooperation
  • Techniques for department morale and motivation
  • Increasing professionalism
  • Strategic camera skills
  • Use and placement of equipment
  • Effective reporting and documentation
  • Training program design and implementation

 

Operational and investigative topics include:

  • Conducting surveillance investigations
  • Audits and close watches
  • Tri-shot methodology and techniques
  • Choke points, entrances and critical locations
  • Preservation and creation of evidence
  • Covert investigations and equipment
  • Data mining of available information
  • Internal theft strategies
  • Use of anonymous ethics hotlines

Pricing:

  • Early Bird: $725; payment due April 14, 2014
  • Regular: $795; payment due April 28, 2014

 

Seminar registration fee includes coursework material, continental breakfast, lunch and afternoon refreshments on each day of the seminar. It does not include lodging, air transportation or ground transportation, incidentals or any meals other than those listed above on the days of the seminar.
