Diversity Hiring Initiative Information Sessions

When: Sep. 9, 2013, 9:30am - 11am
Campus Location: Student Union
Office/Remote Location: See below for room details

This session will provide practical guidance on how to prepare your search plans. Specifically, ODI, Provost and President’s office staff will explain how search and/or department chairs can use the Oklahoma State University and Department of Education survey information to find national diversity data on your discipline and how to interpret the historical data from your own unit’s past searches. Human Resources will review UNLV standard search procedures including the use of the "Consensus" on-line search software. We are hoping that particularly for those units which have been authorized to conduct searches this fall, either the department chair or search committee chair or both will be able to attend.

Sessions will be held on:

  • Sept. 9, Student Union, room 218
  • Nov. 1, Student Union, room 209
