Join the Advocacy, Support, and Education Response Team Against Violence (ASERTAV) taskforce as they discusses the Disclosures of Interpersonal Violence: What Faculty and Staff Should Know.
If a student discloses they were sexually assaulted, or in a violent relationship or are being stalked, do you know what to do? How do you provide help and ensure you are in compliance with university and federal regulations?
The Advocacy, Support, and Education Response Team Against Violence (ASERTAV) taskforce is hosting an hour-long workshop on UNLV's comprehensive response protocol for disclosures as mandated by federal guidelines including Title IX.
Learn how to best support students in crisis. The training covers UNLV policies, step by step directions for how to respond, and what resources are available on and off campus. Attendees are given materials to use in case of disclosures, including a guidebook.
This workshop is free to faculty and staff. Please register to reserve your spot.
