Dinner and a Show: "Urinetown"

Join your fellow alumni for an intimate evening of dinning and hilarity with an award-winning musical featuring UNLV students, alumni, and faculty. 

Winner of three Tony Awards including “Best Musical,” the satirical comedy Urinetown recounts a city’s attempt to regulate water consumption by outlawing the use of private toilets. This hilarious musical exposes a world of greed, corruption, love, and revolution during a time when water is worth its weight in gold and private bathrooms are outlawed.

Residents of this Gotham-like city are required to use public restrooms that are regulated by a single malevolent company, which profits by charging admission for one of humanity’s most basic needs. During this time of bathroom repression, one hero decides he’s had enough and plans a revolution to lead his fellow citizens to toilet freedom.
