Certified Peer Educator Training

Advocate, Lead and Teach Healthier Lifestyles!

Certified Peer Educator Training is an opportunity for students to learn to lead, advocate, and teach healthier lifestyles at UNLV. CPE is a national certification program offered through the Department of Wellness Promotion & UNLV Healthy Rebel Peer Educators.

It is a requirement for students wishing to become a Healthy Rebel Peer Educator.

Healthy Rebels work with UNLV Student Wellness staff to conduct programs, presentations, and events on safer sex, impaired driving, stress, alcohol, relationships, cancer prevention and much more. They are members of the the BACCHUS Peer Education Network and work with peer educators at other universities.

Requirements are:

  • Currently enrolled UNLV students in good standing with at least one year of academic coursework All majors welcome!


Applications are available in the Rebel Wellness Zone, 2nd floor of the SRWC. Application deadline is Sept. 30.

CPR training is two days, October 11, 9 a.m.-Noon and October 12, 9 a.m.-4 p.m.

Admission Information: 

Training Fee is $35.00 (includes manual and food)

**Applicants accepted to the training will be informed on how to pay.
