Professor Gang Bao from the Department of Mathematics at Michigan State Univeristy/Zhejian Univerisity will be the featured speaker at the Center for Applied Mathematics and Statistics Seminar. His talk is titled, "Multiphysics Modeling of Optical Responses of a Nano Medium."
This talk is about the modeling, analysis, and computation of optical interactions of light and nano size matters. Because of the multiscale character of the model, novel computational methods based on the combination of Maxwell's equations and TDDFT have been developed.
